The Chapter Board of Directors consists of the Elected Officers plus non-voting Advisory Members - all Past Presidents and all Industry Reps appointed by the current President.
President
- Lead the Board. Drive Chapter direction/focus. Set the overall tone.
- Chair Board meetings per Agenda & break tie votes
- Appoint/manage Industry Reps
- Presiding officer at chapter meetings
- Ex-officio member of all committees for all chapter activities
- Point of contact for the Chapter - liaise with other Chapter Presidents and ISSA HQ
- Attend ISSA Annual Meeting
- Why Volunteer?
- Strong desire to lead the Board to build/grow the Chapter.
- Contribute to the Security profession.
- Make industry contacts.
- Earn 40 CPE's.
- Approximate Monthly Time Commitment: 8hrs plus meetings
Vice-President
- Attend board and chapter meetings
- Fill in for the President as needed
- Serve as Chapter representative to the ConSec Steering Committee
- Take on any special challenges as directed by the President

- Desire to help lead one of the top chapters of the ISSA.
- Help guide the chapter to best serve the interests of the members.
- Help produce a major Security symposium/conference.
- Earn 40 CPE's.
- Approximate Monthly Time Commitment: 4hrs plus meetings
Recording Secretary
- Attend Board and Chapter meetings
- Maintain detailed minutes for both meetings and post to the Chapter website
- Produce the agenda for meetings in conjunction with the President
- Stay aware of all chapter activities and associated discussion
- Why Volunteer?
- Learn deliberative body procedures by chronicling Board activities.
- Help lead one of the top chapters of ISSA.
- Develop personal industry contacts.
- Earn 40 CPE's.
- Approximate Monthly Time Commitment: 7hrs plus meetings
Education Director
- Attend board and chapter meetings
- Help facilitate the Annual Planning meeting in January
- Manage Board-approved schedule of monthly training topics
- Help coordinate monthly meetings and mentor meeting facilitators
- Participate in planning/coordination of special training events
- Why Volunteer?
- Desire to deliver relevant, timely Security training to the membership.
- Help lead one of the top chapters of ISSA.
- Develop personal industry contacts in specific security domains.
- Earn 40 CPE's.
- Approximate Monthly Time Commitment: 5hrs plus meetings
Membership Director
- Attend board and chapter meetings
- Recruit new members and help all Officers sell the benefits of membership
- Support chapter presence at tradeshows, conferences, and other public events
- Liaise with ISSA and (ISC)2 regarding official membership lists
- Personally communicate with existing members upon their renewal anniversary
- Why Volunteer?
- Naturally outgoing, high-energy personality.
- Desire to grow Chapter and personal reputation in the Security community.
- Help lead one of the top chapters of ISSA.

Corresponding Secretary
- Attend board and chapter meetings
- Update and maintain gmail and Eventbrite email lists
- Create, edit, obtain review and send the monthly newsletter
- Craft and send out a survey of members and other chapter communications at direction of the Board
- Why Volunteer?
- Inform the local security community of events and chapter activities.
- Showcase writing / newsletter publication abilities.
- Help lead one of the top chapters of ISSA.
- Develop personal industry contacts.
- Earn 40 CPE's.
- Approximate Monthly Time Commitment: 5 hrs plus meetings
Treasurer
- Attend board and chapter meetings
- Manage ledger of bank accounts, receivables, and payables
- Manage chapter's conference bank account and coordinate with conference board
- Report on budget status and develop following-year budget
- Close books at fiscal year end (September) and facilitate financial reconciliation
- File tax forms with government agencies
- Collect and process mail received at the Chapter P.O. box
