November 19 Chapter Meeting - Platform Hardening with Michael Gough

Our final regular chapter meeting is to be held November 19th. (December is our special elections meeting).

The Title of the presentation is Platform Hardening, presented by Michael Gough.

Bio:

Michael Gough is a CISSP, CISA and currently a Sr. Information Security
Analyst for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Michael has spent
the better part of the last 20 years as a Consultant in both Information
Technology and the last 15 in Information Security. Before joining CPA,
Michael spent the previous 8 years work for Hewlett-Packard in the North
American Security Consulting Practice helping fortune 100 accounts
design, evaluate and improve Information Security.
Michael is a published author with two books from Syngress Press; 'Skype
Me!' and 'Video Conferencing over IP'. He is also involved with the
Center for Internet Security providing input into the CIS Benchmarks for
Windows, HP-UX and Wireless and has presented at many Information
Security events and provides information on Safe Surfing and Home
Security to school students and their parents.
